Option 1: Apply Online
Processing your application online is the fastest way to ensure that your NIE number will be obtained as quickly as possible. After you have followed the simple online process and provided payment, you present yourself at the selected notary and sign the documentation and within 2 weeks, your NIE number will be both emailed to you and also sent by post.

Step 6: Notarise, legalise and return POA and copy of passports by post. If you have chosen to use one of our associated notaries, they will take care of these three steps altogether. Alternatively you can perform the three steps separately.
The following steps are only applicable if you are using your own notary.
